Learn about the Queen Bee

Ted Miksa

The Friends of Lake Louisa State Park presents Ted Miksa of Miksa Honey Farms Friday, September 26th at 7:00pm in the park’s administration building.  Miksa Honey Farms is a family run business that has been in the Groveland area for 58 years.  Ted will be speaking on the evolution of the business, how they provide queen bees of a variety of stock lines to beekeepers around the U.S., as well as the process they undergo to breed the queen bees.  This is a free presentation but space is limited.  Please RSVP to 352-394-3969.
